Job Title

A strategic finance leader is required to oversee the financial and administrative operations of the business.

About the Role
  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the finance team in delivering timely financial reporting, managing statutory compliance, and driving process improvements.
  • They will also oversee employee payroll processing, manage tax filings, and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
  1. Financial Management and Reporting:
    1. Develop and implement accounting systems and processes for accurate and timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
    3. Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow to support sustainable business operations.
    4. Liaise with external teams to support consolidated reporting, audits, and cross-border financial coordination.
  2. Payroll, Taxation, and Statutory Compliance:
    1. Oversee employee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all applicable labour, tax, and provident fund laws.
    2. Manage TDS, GST (if applicable), and other statutory filings with relevant authorities.
    3. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure all statutory registers are up-to-date.
  3. Insurance and Risk Management:
    1. Lead the procurement, review, and renewal of essential business insurance policies, including but not limited to: Public Liability Insurance, Cybersecurity Insurance, and others.
    2. Liaise with brokers and insurers to ensure coverage levels are appropriate to the business's operational risk profile.
    3. Monitor insurance compliance obligations under lease agreements and service contracts.
    4. Maintain insurance documentation and ensure prompt response to incidents or claims.
  4. Financial Instruments and Banking Infrastructure:
    1. Establish and manage banking relationships, ensuring optimal account structures for operational efficiency.
    2. Ensure compatibility with accounting platforms, including potential use of direct bank feeds.
    3. Support the setup of digital payment systems and vendor management tools.
  5. Procurement and Office Operations:
    1. Manage procurement of IT equipment, software licences, and office supplies.
    2. Coordinate with external providers and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    3. Ensure value-for-money and cost efficiency across administrative expenditures.
  6. Administrative Leadership and Record-Keeping:
    1. Develop and maintain internal administrative policies and workflows.
    2. Oversee documentation of employee records, contracts, lease agreements, and regulatory filings.
    3. Support onboarding and coordination with external consultants.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CA/CPA/MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in finance, accounting, or business operations
  • Strong working knowledge of labour law, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
  • Familiarity with risk management and insurance procurement, particularly in service-sector businesses
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms and digital banking tools
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
