
Agricultural Relationship Manager

Travel Required: Extensive. Candidate should be comfortable in assigned location for work.
Note: Only local candidates preferred.
Job Purpose
To develop and maintain relationships with customers in the agri sector, providing best possible services as a dedicated point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and business generation through various channels.
- Identifying and exploring new geographical markets for farming and rural communities.
- Sourcing proposals from individual farmers, co-operative societies, rural mandis & markets, Kissan clubs, farmer producer organizations, etc.
- Conducting marketing activities to generate new business opportunities.
- Monitoring productivity benchmarks.
- Staying updated on market requirements, competition, and customer banking behavior.
- Proposing amendments in product offerings based on market dynamics.
- Staying informed about changes in state government laws and policies.
- Maintaining and deepening relationships with existing customers.
- Liaising with new and existing customers.
- Addressing customer complaints within stipulated time frames.
- Minimizing delinquency in portfolio.
- FOLLOWING UP WITH CUSTOMERS FOR RECOVERY.
- Monitoring account rotation.
- Ensuring submission of documents like LAD, CAM, etc., to avoid dropping of limit in customers' accounts.
- Supporting legal and remedial teams for legal actions.
- Maintaining housekeeping parameters under control.
- Conducting village-level farmer meetings and educating farmers on products offered by the bank.
- Informing farmers about tools and technology for improving farm production.
- Educating farmers about debt waivers, crop insurance, and government subsidies.
- Cross-selling other assets and liability products.
- Promoting digital platforms like NetBanking, Mobile Banking, PayZapp, Insta Alert, Smart Buy, Chillr, etc.
- Training and developing sales officers (SO/HBL) for optimal sales support.
- Enhancing supporting staff skills by imparting regular trainings for better customer relationship dealing.
- Motivating performance and counseling them for delivery.
- Liaising with credit teams for timely decision-making and closure of housekeeping items.
- Coordinating with remedial teams for NPA cases and working towards recovery.
- Coordinating with local operations teams for disbursement.
- Liaising with RBB teams for branch activation and providing best services to customers.
- Liaising with business correspondents for new and existing customer relationships.
- Performing any other task assigned by seniors from time to time.

Requirements:
- A minimum experience of 1-3 years in a similar role or sales experience in seed companies, fertilizer companies, agri product companies, banks, etc.
