Job Title: Language Facilitator

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the academic community by supporting students in their writing journey.

The ideal candidate will have experience tutoring ESL/EFL learners, preferably in a university setting, and hold a Master's degree in any discipline.

  • Tutoring experience: 2-3 years of experience working with students of various language levels, backgrounds, and learning styles.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in any discipline.
  • TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess individual students' language needs and develop personalized coaching plans.
  • Analyze student data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with instructors to align studio support with in-class milestones.
  • Liaise with faculty across disciplines regarding student learning needs and progress.
  • Support the development and implementation of language-learning tools and software.
  • Manage records, coordinate activities, and contribute to the overall growth of the Writing Studio.

  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of process-based, metacognitive writing pedagogy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Cross-cultural understanding and empathy.
