Job Description

\

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage and execute standard period-end closing efficiently.

\

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in General Ledger/Accounting and be proficient in financial reporting and analysis.

\

Responsibilities include:

\
  • Managing and executing standard period-end closing efficiently\
  • Performing General Ledger (GL) accounting and reconciliations\
  • Preparing and reconciling Balance Sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness\
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant standards\
  • Analyzing and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts\
  • Maintaining and updating records for fixed assets, including depreciation and capitalization\
  • Preparing and filing local compliance reports as required by regulatory authorities\
  • Generating and submitting weekly and monthly financial reports to stakeholders\
  • Performing intercompany (IC) reconciliations to ensure alignment across entities\
  • Preparing and posting monthly and quarterly accruals\
  • Collaborating with local finance teams to achieve successful period closures\
  • Analyzing Trial Balances and generating financial reports for management\
  • Conducting quarterly financial statement flux analysis to identify trends and variances\
  • Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations\
  • Contributing to the budgeting process by providing data and insights

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards\
  • Hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting and reconciliation\
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis\
  • Excellent understanding of fixed asset management processes\
  • Familiarity with compliance reporting and local statutory requirements\
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs\
  • Experience in process transition\
  • Experience in stakeholder management\
  • Experience with budgeting processes is a plus
