Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including day-to-day activities within the data center. Additionally, it involves implementing and managing governance controls on all infrastructure and platform assets.

The position requires close collaboration with various teams, including InfoSec, SMEs, Audit, Compliance, and other IT groups to ensure smooth operations and compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Governance Responsibilities:

  • Implement comprehensive governance and controls on all infrastructure and platform assets to ensure adherence to ITIL standards and regulatory provisions at all times.
  • Review and manage access to ECIS infrastructure assets by vendors, implementing governance and controls mechanisms to ensure authorized and secure access at all times.

Infrastructure Solution Architecture Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all infrastructure and platform assets used in ECIS, including devices, licenses, subscriptions, operating systems, databases, middleware, end-user software, etc.
  • Develop and implement right-sized infrastructure and platform capacities for current production and future growth to ensure that all performance service level agreements (SLAs) for data ingestion, online/batch processes and batch movements, analytics, and insights are met 100% of the time.
  • Ensure high availability and uptime of all infrastructure platforms and services.

Budgets and Financials Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual IT budgets (capital expenditures and operating expenses) for infrastructure requirements.
  • Issue timely vendor purchase orders.
  • Collaborate closely with finance to provide accurate and timely cost and spend projections, enabling finance to accurately account for financials in the profit and loss statement.
  • Review and track vendor invoices against corresponding outcomes/service level agreement performance and milestones or timesheets before sending invoices to finance for payment processing.
  • Ensure no service level agreement performance breaches necessitate raising penalty provisions.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments.

Vendor Management Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for technology infrastructure vendor management.
  • Ensure periodic vendor governance cadences.
  • Review and monitor supplier service level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Responsible for third-party assurance and establishing a framework to govern supplier relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering.
  • Experience of at least 7-8 years in delivering enterprise business solutions.
  • Working experience with BFSI organizations, minimum 3 years at mid-level management in mid to large-size organizations.
  • Exposure to RBI submissions, audits, and assessments.
  • Experience of minimum 3-5 years in managing datacenter operations.
