Job Opportunity: Senior Dynamics AX Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dynamics AX Expert to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

  • The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Deep dive into concepts after high-level knowledge transfer to debug existing AX customizations
  • Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL
  • Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration
  • Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality
  • Create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later)
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus
