Polarion ALM Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application lifecycle management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure and maintain Polarion ALM solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Customize workflows, dashboards, user interfaces and templates within Polarion.
  • Integrate Polarion with other enterprise tools to streamline engineering processes.
  • Implement traceability matrices, test management and compliance support features in Polarion.
  • Work closely with engineering and QA teams to align Polarion setups with project methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain custom extensions, scripts and APIs for enhanced functionality.
  • Provide technical documentation, user training and ongoing support to internal teams.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Polarion ALM development and administration.
  • Strong experience in XML, JavaScript, Velocity templates and Polarion APIs.
  • Experience integrating Polarion with tools like Jira, Git or CI/CD systems.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and ALM/PLM processes.
  • Familiarity with test management, requirements traceability and change control workflows.
  • Good knowledge of software configuration management and release processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace or medical devices.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or other compliance standards.
  • Experience with Java, Python or other scripting languages for integration.
