Project Overview

BAU Support Role:

Murex 3.1 system support on multiple levels, including first and second-level production system support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation, configuration, and development of Murex systems in various aspects, such as datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  • Coordinating and communicating with stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
  • Analyzing and making recommendations based on Murex implementation experience.
  • Following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • Supporting IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Development and testing of database and infrastructure changes.
  • Performing technical reviews of production changes.
  • Writing clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  • Dealing directly with business users across the bank to analyze and diagnose business-critical issues.
  • Resolving issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Providing detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinating with them in testing fixes or solutions.
  • Acting as an intermediary between business and vendors.
  • Debugging and enhancing bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.

Required Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability.
  • Solid understanding of DataMart.
