Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled automated tester with 5+ years of experience in testing Murex systems. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Murex architecture and workflows, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Java or Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules, including Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and Interfaces.
  • Perform Functional and Regression Testing: Use automation tools to perform functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring that Murex systems meet testing standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement Automation Frameworks: Design and implement automation frameworks to ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Defect Tracking and Retesting: Track defects, log issues, and retest in coordination with development teams.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles, ensuring compliance with testing standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Murex Experience: 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing, with hands-on experience in Murex automation tools.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar for automation.
  • Murex Architecture: Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows, including FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces.
  • Test Management Tools: Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar.
  • SQL and Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation, as well as familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
