Job Title:

Professional with expertise in Selenium, BDD Cucumber and JavaScript sought after for designing robust automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and hands-on experience in banking payments systems, including OPF, Wires, SWIFT and SEPA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression and integration testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document test strategies, plans and results for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, JavaScript and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine such as OPF is desirable.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git Bitbucket).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
