Leasing Role

We are seeking a skilled leasing professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of leasing activities, including developing leasing strategies, attracting and retaining tenants, negotiating lease agreements, and ensuring occupancy targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in commercial and residential leasing and rentals, with a strong ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats. They will also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing tenants/buyers through various channels
  • Managing all aspects of leasing activities, including developing leasing strategies, attracting/retaining tenants, negotiating lease agreements, and ensuring occupancy targets are met
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities/threats
  • Building/maintaining positive relationships with existing/potential tenants
  • Addressing tenant inquiries/concerns/complaints promptly effectively
  • Coodinating tenant retention initiatives to minimize vacancies/turnover
  • Negotiating lease terms/conditions with prospective tenants
  • Ensuring lease agreements comply with legal requirements/property policies
  • Collaborating with legal counsel as needed to finalize lease documents
  • Monitoring rent collection/arrears, taking appropriate action to address delinquencies
  • Preparing leasing budgets/forecasts, tracking performance against targets
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained/attractive to tenants
  • Identifying opportunities for property enhancements/renovations to increase desirability/value
  • Generating regular reports on leasing performance/occupancy rates/market trends
  • Analyzing leasing data to identify opportunities for improvement/optimization

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience in property leasing transactions
  2. Strong verbal/written communication skills
  3. Graduates or Post graduates
