Java Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Java Support Specialist to fill this role.
Job Summary:
This position requires an individual with technical expertise in providing support and guidance to customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of software development concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers via various channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to aid in knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skill sets and stay current with industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in JavaScript-based frameworks such as jQuery, prototype, and AngularJS.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of single-page application development using AngularJS.
- Familiarity with Node.js is an added advantage.
- Understanding of usability and UI guidelines.
- Experience writing code in Java at a minimum level of familiarity.
- Familiarity with design patterns and web application architectures.
- Experience working with REST-based web services or other server-based APIs.
- Knowledge of Java enterprise development, including Spring, JPA, EJB, and JSF.
- Knowledge of unit testing and build processes, including Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Hudson, or Cruise Control.
- Hands-on experience with Java web application servers, including JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, GlassFish, or WebSphere.
- At least 4-6 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a support environment.
