Front Desk Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Coordinator to provide exceptional guest service by managing front desk operations and coordinating with various departments.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

  • Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Key Responsibilities:

The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Managing room reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
  2. Updating and maintaining the reservation system to ensure accurate availability.
  3. Handling special requests and modifications to reservations.
  4. Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
  5. Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a cash drawer.
  6. Ensuring all guest information is accurate and up-to-date in the system.
  7. Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  8. Coordinating with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front office or customer service role in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in front-office software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
