Front Desk Coordinator
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Coordinator to provide exceptional guest service by managing front desk operations and coordinating with various departments.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Managing room reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
- Updating and maintaining the reservation system to ensure accurate availability.
- Handling special requests and modifications to reservations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a cash drawer.
- Ensuring all guest information is accurate and up-to-date in the system.
- Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Coordinating with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front office or customer service role in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in front-office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
