About the Role

We are seeking a talented Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management, with experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and reviewing Bill of Material from Design Department and soliciting quotations from vendors.
  • Developing and maintaining a cash flow plan to support project objectives, including regular updates on costs incurred.
  • Preparing and presenting comparative quotations to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Issuing purchase orders to vendors with appropriate payment terms and delivery conditions.
  • Collaborating with the accounts team to release advances and process payments to vendors as per agreed-upon terms.
  • Maintaining open communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Ensuring that all invoices are accurately processed and recorded in our system.
  • Providing regular financial project progress reports to management.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of vendors.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supporting the Tender/BD team in costing of upcoming projects/tenders.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with 7-10 years of experience in procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Analytics software.
