Automated Corrugation Plant Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced production planning professional to lead and manage production activities in a state-of-the-art corrugated box manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient resource utilization, timely order execution, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with sales orders and delivery schedules to maximize plant capacity and minimize downtime.• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet changing priorities and urgent requirements to ensure seamless operations.• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve smooth production processes and foster collaboration across sales, procurement, logistics, and quality departments for effective order execution.• Implement lean manufacturing practices, process optimization, and waste reduction initiatives to drive efficiency improvements in corrugation, printing, slotting, and finishing processes.• Track key performance indicators like machine efficiency, productivity, wastage, and downtime to identify areas for improvement.• Propose and implement cost-effective measures to enhance overall plant performance and ensure timely order fulfillment with adherence to quality standards.• Address bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery commitments while promoting a culture of workplace safety and hygiene.
Requirements
• Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in production planning functions of automated corrugated box manufacturing companies.• Bachelor's or diploma degree in a relevant field with full-time qualification only.• Strong expertise in production planning & scheduling in automatic corrugation plants and knowledge of corrugation machinery, paper grades, and box manufacturing processes.• Proficiency in production planning tools and excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.• Strong analytical skills focused on efficiency and cost optimization and effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.•
