The Procurement Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving the procurement process forward, ensuring seamless execution and effective management of technology needs.
- Monitors and manages incoming procurement requests from initiation to completion.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely and compliant procurement processes.
- Reviews vendor contracts, submits requisitions, and tracks approvals until purchase orders are issued.
- Updates financial spreadsheets with request details for accurate tracking.
This role requires a meticulous and organized professional with experience in reviewing vendor contracts, collaborating across departments, and managing multiple procurement workflows simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborates with stakeholders on special assignments and projects.
- Elevates questions or concerns to senior team members.
- Maintains and provides status updates on all requests/orders in the procurement workflow to inform monthly accruals.
Required Qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, 1-2 years of procurement and/or accounting experience, and 1-2 years of experience with Workday or similar ERP/HCM systems.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Workday Procurement module.
- Background in healthcare and/or technology industries.
- 2 or more years of procurement, vendor management, and/or accounting/finance experience.
A high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps is required for effective remote work setup.
