Global Trade Tax Analyst Internship

This internship role presents a unique opportunity to apply research skills in Indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategies from a Product development perspective. As a Tax Analyst intern, you will perform analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with specific focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, research interest in Taxation, strategic and tactical implications on Trade, impact on GDP, and Tax Compliance. Proficiency in research methodologies and techniques is also essential.

Achieving success in this role requires effective communication and teamwork abilities, as well as enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Science is preferred;
  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required;

This internship offers the chance to work with cutting-edge AI techniques, push boundaries, and drive differentiation and value to corporate customers. The team comprises ex-Deloitte, ex-EY, and ex-Google professionals who are disrupting the Tariffs & Taxes management landscape at a global level.

The Tax Analyst intern will be based in Bangalore Urban district, working full-time on-site. This role focuses on applied research, analytical tasks, and supporting tax-related capabilities and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Applied research in Indirect tax planning, tax compliance, and tax strategies from a Product development perspective;
  • Analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with specific focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST;

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Science (strongly preferred);
  • Enrollment Status: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
