Senior Tax Researcher Position

The role of Senior Tax Researcher is a highly skilled position that combines academic rigor with practical relevance, requiring someone who can analyze, interpret and present complex tax legislation and concepts in a clear, authoritative and engaging manner.

This senior-level position involves reviewing, interpreting and validating tax laws, regulations, treaties and official guidance for publication. Ensuring content is accurate, timely and aligned with international standards and best practices is key to success.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Accuracy & Review: Analyze and validate tax laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Knowledge Development: Develop technical articles, case studies and analytical notes on domestic and international tax topics.
  • Training & Thought Leadership: Assist in designing and delivering training modules and contribute to knowledge resources such as FAQs, guides and toolkits.
  • Research & Editorial Support: Monitor regional tax developments and support product and tech teams in curating content for AI-enabled research tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting or Law (e.g., Chartered Accountant, LLB/LLM in Tax, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • 5–7 years' experience in taxation, with strong exposure to international tax concepts.
  • Exceptional research, drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of international tax frameworks (OECD, BEPS, treaties, Pillar 1 & 2) and core tax concepts.
  • Prior experience in academic/research roles, publishing or knowledge management is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and flexible environment.
