Job Description:

As a Workforce Management Planner at Conduent Business Services, you will be responsible for delivering forecasts for the number of interactions, processing time, shrinkage, attrition, and other required metrics and inputs for the capacity management process. You will use standard forecasting tools and analysis to achieve this goal. Additionally, you will be responsible for the capacity, staffing, and resource management of one or more accounts and will provide guidelines and directions to the WFM Scheduler in creating the schedule and reviewing the output of the scheduling process before transferring it to WFM Intraday Management. Your tasks will be performed in such a way that optimal utilization and occupancy of the workforce are realized, and project KPIs can effectively be met.

  • Establish and update the forecast, long-term capacity planning, and production planning to ensure optimal utilization and occupancy for the project.
  • Collect, review, and correct data for short-, medium-, and long-term forecasting of required metrics and inputs.
  • Develop forecasts of the number of interactions, processing time, waste, attrition, and other required metrics for the business segments within a given program as input for the capacity and resource plans.
  • Administer the 52-week capacity, staffing, and resource plans to manage up and down scaling of labor and resources.
  • Adjust and fine-tune the forecast based on experience data, client input, external factors, and additional information from Operational Management.
  • Communicate directive guidelines for the WFM Schedulers to ensure schedules produced accurately cover demand forecasts while accounting for known constraints, planned events/holidays, and business objectives.
  • Analyze performance, especially productivity, utilization, and occupancy, to uncover trends to improve forecast and capacity management processes.
  • Develop the program hiring strategy along with the WFM Business Partner and Operational Leaders.
  • Coordinate with recruiting and/or operations leadership on the timing and quantity of new hire requisitions.
  • Report planning information to Operational Management, WFM Intraday Management, and the WFM Business Partner.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on Math, Business, and/or Statistics.
  • Effective operational language proficiency in Business English and any other required languages to perform the job.
  • Advanced proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Basic computer skills and elementary proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Windows/Mac OS X.
  • Ability to focus on performance and results and act accordingly.
  • Proficiency and experience with forecasting, capacity management, production, and/or personnel planning.
  • Problem signaling and solving skills.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with WFM systems, preferably NICE IEX.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
  • Knowledge of the COPC methodology.
  • Knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Result-oriented collaboration.
  • Proactivity.
  • Elementary knowledge of the complete WFM process, specific calculations, procedures, tools, and terminology.
