Job Title: Management Institution Head

Position Overview:

The institution's highest-ranking official, reporting to the Vice Chancellor, will occupy this strategic leadership position. This role demands building a world-class management institution in India and achieving high rankings by focusing on high-quality education.

This senior executive will develop and facilitate institutional linkages with various stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and industry, to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Create an institution that seamlessly incorporates modern and futuristic methods of education and learning.
  • Attract and mentor faculties with a global orientation and pragmatic approach towards Indian pedagogy.
  • Establish a research-led/industry partnership environment where faculties and students flourish alike and pave the way for future leaders and business incubators.
  • Promote technology-led interventions in all spheres of education, including digitalization and automation.
  • Continuously strive to achieve high ranks year-over-year in national and international ranking systems.

The Five-Year Plan includes:

  • Focusing on entrepreneurial learning environments.
  • Hiring aspirational faculty.
  • Transforming education by leveraging technology, experiential learning, and providing a wide canvas for faculties to produce leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic leadership and administrative control of the institution.
  • Be responsible for the academic development of the institution.
  • Develop dynamic curriculum and modules based on industry needs.
  • Conceptualize and promote interdisciplinary learning.
  • Encourage research focused on new concepts and business practices.
  • Identify and attract best-in-class faculty.
  • Continuous development of faculty through Faculty Development Programs.
  • Cultivate corporate engagement for student opportunities, course design, project-based learning, faculty exposure, and involvement.
  • Develop and manage academic collaborations with leading international management schools.
  • Encourage research and publications by the faculty.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • General supervision and control over the affairs of the institution.
  • Leadership, management, and development of the institution.
  • Realization of its stated mission.
  • Develop plans for the growth of the institution consistent with the vision, mission, and goals of the parent organization.

The institution's head will be the principal academic and administrative officer of the institution.

  • Participate in the appointment of faculty.
  • Responsible for the strategies of the institution and developing programs to meet new market requirements.

The institution's head is expected to ensure that the provisions of the rules are duly observed and implemented.
