Commercial Underwriter

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and communication skills.

The Commercial Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating risks involved in general insurance proposals received for underwriting. This includes assessing the likelihood of losses and determining the appropriate rating for each proposal.

  • Evaluate risks and rate proposals based on established criteria
  • Implement all activities related to commercial underwriting, including risk inspections and hazard analysis
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of insurance principles and practices, as well as industry trends and developments

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and time management skills. A strong understanding of commercial insurance principles and practices is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for commercial underwriting activities
