Job Summary:
The Insurance Specialist role is a key position in our Premium & Billing team, responsible for handling premium processing, suspense, workflow queries, email queries, reports, and payments.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Insurance Specialist. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and coordination abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Maintain accurate project records, schedules, and trackers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support financial transactions related to payments, ensuring timely and secure processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain timely updates and resolve issues efficiently.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and changes in the project to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and follow up on pending tasks and deadlines to meet project milestones.
Suitable candidates should possess:
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
- A basic understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- 3-5 years of experience in U.S Insurance, preferably in life and annuity segments.
