Commercial Banking Career Opportunity:

We seek a seasoned banking professional to join our team as a Commercial Banking Consultant/Subject Matter Expert (SME). This individual will act as a solutions expert/advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across commercial banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for the BPS function.
  • Own RFP/RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives in client banking operations, including process reengineering, automation, workflow orchestration.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, client onboarding from an operations standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within a BPS function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is beneficial.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with a Master's degree in management, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.
  • Global exposure to banking regulations and practices in the UK, US, APAC, or Middle East.
