About This Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Pastries Chef

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to lead our pastry team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including coordinating activities with cooks and workers, and ensuring that all food products meet high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Your key responsibilities will include developing new ideas and items for the Pastry Kitchen, maintaining proper handling and storage standards, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You will also be expected to assist the Executive Chef with menu development, operate and maintain department equipment, and prepare and cook foods of all types.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and influence others, and demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

">Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a culinary or related professional area, or a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures, and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
