As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and scalability of financial platforms. Your primary focus will be on delivering reliable financial applications and data services that meet the demanding requirements of accuracy, compliance, and availability.

This role is centered around building automation, implementing monitoring, and improving incident response to enable Finance and Accounting systems to operate with consistency and trustworthiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Accounting and Finance platforms against defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Develop automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and Finance/Accounting teams to ensure operational needs are met from development through production.
  • Evaluate financial applications and data pipelines against audit, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Drive post-incident reviews, implement lessons learned, and proactively identify opportunities to improve system resilience.

You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering. You should have strong experience with monitoring/observability tools and hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools.
