Payment Process Improvement Specialist

- We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Process Improvement Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Payment Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our payment operations framework. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement process enhancements, and ensure seamless execution across various products.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize analytical skills and technical expertise to resolve exceptions, optimize control environments, and enhance financial and operational processes.
  • Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to address complex payment lifecycle issues, ensuring accurate and timely fund transfers.
  • Define project requirements and metrics using process models, leading or contributing to process optimization initiatives that improve quality and customer experience.
  • Apply knowledge of systems architecture and automation technologies to support process optimization, build effective relationships with stakeholders, and drive business growth.
  • Capture all transactions accurately in Risk Management Systems, performing trade support for investor and fund transactions.
  • Complete intraday and end-of-day processes with precision, ensuring accuracy and escalating urgent matters requiring senior management involvement.
  • Oversee multiple vendors and service providers, building a deep understanding of trading structures from financial and operational perspectives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of global payment processing operations and systems architecture to support operational efficiency and change management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques to interpret and communicate insights for informed decision-making with senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial and growth mindset to adapt to fast-paced environments and new business initiatives, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity controls and anti-fraud strategies to protect information and systems, and ability to navigate dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and design-thinking techniques to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage concurrent assignments effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of ISO or Swift message processing or management.
  • Experience with operations, controls, and problem-solving related to Payments, Cash, Treasury Operations.
  • Experience in global payments and understanding of accounting and money movement processes.
