Job Opportunity: OpenStack Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled OpenStack Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining OpenStack infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable solutions.

This position requires a deep understanding of OpenStack components, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Support capacity planning, incident management, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
