Technical Project Leader

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams, leveraging a strong background in software development to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop low-level technical designs.
  • Planning, tracking, and managing project resources, including budgeting and vendor management.
  • Implementing Agile practices across teams to enhance collaboration, improve delivery speed, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Identifying potential risks early in the project lifecycle and developing mitigation strategies. Proactively communicating risks to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that quality standards are integrated into the development process. Monitoring project deliverables to meet established quality gates.
  • Measuring project progress using data-driven approaches. Conducting regular checkpoints (e.g., daily scrums, weekly meetings) to track actions and ensure accountability.
  • Mentoring team members, fostering a culture of inclusiveness and collaboration. Encouraging professional development through training and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in technology delivery roles, with a strong track record of managing large-scale projects and teams.
  • A significant background in software development, including hands-on coding experience in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, .NET).
  • Strong skills in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (JIRA, Trello).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
