Tax Advisory Associate

We are a HR Advisory Company that has been retained to manage end-to-end recruitment processes for BMR Legal Advocates, a boutique law firm specializing in Corporate, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade, and litigation services.
The Associate/Senior Associate will be responsible for managing client engagements related to Indirect tax, GST, customs, and excise. We do not have a work-from-home policy, except in exceptional circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting client responses in Indirect tax advisory matters, including GST, customs, and excise.
- Support in Advisory and litigation work in Indirect taxes and other matters required by the Firm.
- Assist in research and help with drafting research papers, thought leadership articles, and other content.
- Litigation matters relating to the above, including preparing paper books, submissions, and briefing assistance.
- Support our Firm's clients, both internal and external.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Indirect tax in a reputable law firm or professional services firm.
- Strong analytical and research skills, along with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Chartered Accountant/LLB.
