Tax Advisory Manager

As a leading HR Advisory Company, we have been retained by BMR Legal Advocates to manage their end-to-end recruitment process. BMR Legal Advocates is a boutique law firm founded in 2010, specializing in Corporate International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade, with expertise in litigation services, controversy management, strategic transaction advisory, and policy.
Job Summary
The Tax Advisory Manager will be responsible for managing client engagements, which will be a healthy mix of international tax, M&A, Transfer Pricing, and Litigation. The role will involve preparing opinions, presentations, and proposals, researching and analyzing complex tax issues, leading briefings, and preparing submissions/paper books at the appellate stage, and advising clients on tax implications of business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of tax opinions, presentations, and proposals, and advising clients on tax implications of business decisions.
- Experience in Tax Litigation, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Transfer Pricing and International Tax issues, with experience in advising multinational corporations and Indian business groups.
- Interaction with Partners and briefing Partners on client requirements.
- Manage a team.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Corporate International Tax and Transfer Pricing with a reputed law firm or professional services firm.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Chartered Accountant / L.L.B.
