DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Specialist to join our team in Mumbai, India.
Job Summary
The Tax Advisory Specialist will be responsible for providing expert tax advisory services to our business units, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and laws. This role will also involve liaising with tax authorities, preparing tax returns, and maintaining accurate tax records.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide tax advisory services to business units, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities, preparing tax returns and responding to tax queries.
- Maintain accurate tax records, ensuring timely submission of tax returns.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant and Tax professional with 8-9 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
