Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to join our team.
This is a pivotal role in supporting global expansion initiatives and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of localized content.
The ideal candidate will manage localization projects, leveraging translation management system tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage localization requests and projects across product UI, documentation, and support content. Define scope, timelines, and deliverables to align with business priorities.
- TMS Tools: Oversee translation workflows in Smartling and XTM, including project setup, automation, and quality checks. Troubleshoot tool issues and collaborate with engineering or vendor support as needed.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for localization vendors, managing schedules and queries. Coordinate vendor assignments, monitor key performance indicators, and enforce service level agreement compliance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Documentation, Marketing, and Support teams to gather requirements and prepare content for localization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in localization project management or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Smartling and XTM.
- Strong understanding of translation management systems, translation workflows, translation memories, and terminology management.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
