Mortgage Manager Position

At our organization, we are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the management of mortgage origination and correspondent teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Direct day-to-day management of team members, ensuring attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews are conducted effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and industry regulations, including RESPA/TRID guidelines.
  • Interface professionally with clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders to provide exceptional service levels and ensure quality control of residential mortgage loans.
  • Develop and implement coaching and training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and oversee the loan production pipeline, ensuring Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets are met.

Requirements:

  • A strong working knowledge of the mortgage industry and its regulations, including TRID guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good supervision, organization, and math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skill.
  • Minimum 72-84 months of experience in mortgage origination (post-closing review, PQA etc.) and correspondent experience (end-to-end value chain) in US home loan products.
