Tendering Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Professional to manage and coordinate online tender submissions, particularly through the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) Portal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online procurement processes and the ability to manage tender documentation, compliance, and deadlines efficiently. They should possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor relevant online portals (especially GEM) for new tender opportunities.
  • Analyze tender documents and evaluate eligibility criteria.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids in accordance with tender requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and certifications.
  • Track tender status, follow up on submissions, and handle post-bid documentation.
  • Maintain records of all tender submissions and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations related to government procurement.
  • Respond to queries and clarifications from clients or authorities as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in online tendering, specifically on the GEM Portal.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement procedures and documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office and tender submission tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
