Job Role

As a team leader, you will be accountable for overseeing key responsibilities. Your duties include reviewing and quality-checking tasks performed by your colleagues, managing exceptions and disputes, and maintaining track of aged items with timely follow-ups.

Key performance indicators comprise:

  • Reviewing and refining task execution by colleagues
  • Managing and resolving exceptions and queries in an efficient manner
  • Regularly monitoring aged items and conducting timely follow-ups as required
  • Ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures
  • Identifying process gaps and implementing improvements
  • Providing expert support in handling complex issues and procedural inconsistencies
  • Training and mentoring peers on best practices and enhancing their skills

This role requires a strong understanding of procurement and accounts payable processes, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A working knowledge of Japanese language is necessary, along with proficiency in software such as Oracle and ARIBA. The ideal candidate should also possess a solid background in reconciliation and conflict resolution techniques.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • 4-7 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Thorough understanding of procurement, AP, and T&E processes
  • Expertise in Japanese language and culture
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Oracle and ARIBA software systems
