Procurement Specialist Job

This role involves working closely with client category teams, stakeholders, and clients to understand their requirements for running sourcing events. As a procurement specialist, you will develop and implement a sourcing strategy, manage RFx sourcing for mid to high events, solicit competitive proposals from qualified suppliers, negotiate with suppliers, and deliver results to the customer.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with client category teams to define their needs for running sourcing events.
  • Draft requirement documents, document business requirements.
  • Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities and collaborate with the spend analytics team.
  • Create RFP documents, coordinate supplier RFIs, analyze responses, and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
  • Pre-qualify suppliers, evaluate vendor quotations, and implement contracts with emphasis on quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Provide contract-related support to the client category team, including contract drafting, redlining, negotiations, and compliance.
  • Analyze spend reports, conduct research in support of category plans.
  • Collaborate with client category leaders to develop alternate sources to single-source relationships and evaluate incumbent and/or new sources.
  • Simplify purchasing for end customers by creating catalogs, punch-out sites, and digitization.

This role requires strong communication, presentation, data analysis, and reporting skills, as well as the ability to work in different time zones and collaborate with internal and external teams. The successful candidate will have managed teams and worked in a client-support environment in different time zones, with a good understanding of global markets and diverse cultures.
