Job Title: Procurement and AP Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Procurement and AP Expert.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, including identifying and sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen and be able to think strategically about how to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the procurement process, including identifying and sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize procurement strategies.
  3. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of procurement projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in procurement and AP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detailed knowledge of AP/Procurement/T&E, helpdesk, and Vendor Master, as well as expertise in Japanese Language.

Working Conditions:

The position requires strong reconciliation preparation and resolution skills, as well as the ability to review and QC tasks performed by associates. The person will be required to read documents in Japanese Language and speak if required with local finance. Strong Experience in Oracle, ARIBA, and Identifying process gaps and recommending improvements is also required. Hands on experience in Issue resolution and escalation management is necessary. Ability to train and provide feedback to peers as SME is essential.
