Operations Manager

This role is focused on the management of day-to-day operations and process management to ensure smooth delivery of services. It involves ensuring that processes are followed as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and managing discrepancies across lines of business. Additionally, this role requires adherence to turnaround times (TAT) for inward and policy issuance, maintaining productivity at 100%+, and ensuring quality control in all operational activities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in general insurance and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A graduation degree is also required. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audit, compliance, and controllership functions, as well as customer-centricity initiatives. They will also play a key role in ease of doing business by owning branch sales support and coordinating with the central team.
In terms of projects and initiatives, the candidate will contribute to top and bottom line growth through cross-selling and upselling, manage operations code renewal and retention, and identify and deliver process/system improvements via the iThink platform. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
