Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure seamless business functioning.
  • Responsible for associate engagement, business unit engagement and talent management.
  • Identify areas of opportunities and recommend process improvements.
  • Review team performance and provide regular reports to drive career road maps for team members based on their skill sets and aspirations.
  • Monitor various standards including internal quality, utilization, productivity targets and service level agreements.
  • Assess training needs for the team and collaborate with trainers and team leads to bridge gaps.
  • Anticipate and proactively plan for business contingencies.
  • Address customer escalations.
  • Coach and mentor team leads and trainers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned and act as backup to the supervisor.
  • Implement basic hygiene practices in the operational environment and foster a culture of compliance.
  • Drive cost reduction through automation, productivity enhancement and resource optimization.
  • Support new hires and tenured staff to achieve productivity and quality goals.
  • Ensure teams meet and exceed quality and productivity targets.
  • Motivate and engage team members to maintain attrition within thresholds.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their performance and focus on career advancement.
  • Facilitate new hire integration onto the floor within the shortest possible time frame.
  • Develop systems to prevent escalations and promptly respond to them.
  • Contribute inputs to leadership on process gaps.
  • Adhere to internal policies, external regulations and information security standards.
  • Demonstrate awareness of organizational priorities towards change, innovation and cost optimization.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and execute tasks efficiently and adhere to timelines.
  • Pursue ongoing learning and stay updated on important changes in the business and industry.
  • Nurture strong relationships with counterparts and support functions to deliver accurate and timely MIS and reporting results.
