Cloud Architect Position Overview

As a Cloud Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement multi-cloud strategies and design hybrid cloud platforms integrating on-prem and public cloud environments.
  2. Design and architect containerized microservices, APIs, and Kubernetes platforms to enhance scalability and efficiency.
  3. Ensure strong cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), zero-trust, and network governance to protect against cyber threats.
  4. Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Bicep to improve deployment speed and reliability.
  5. Implement observability, monitoring, and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices to ensure system reliability and performance.
  6. Optimize cloud costs and governance through FinOps best practices and develop strategies for efficient resource allocation.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Multi-cloud expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP with hands-on experience in each platform.
  2. Strong knowledge of networking and security principles to design secure architectures.
  3. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), DevSecOps, and GitOps tools.
  4. Expertise in automation tools and scripting, including Terraform, Ansible, Python, and PowerShell.
