Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day design sampling operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effective production.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve market goals for products.
- Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Prepare a vendor base and follow up on productions.
- Skill management in team members and maximize their efficiency.
- Design new creations that meet market demands while optimizing costs.
- Stay updated on trends and market interests through ongoing research.
- Ensure proper sampling and approvals.
- Work on briefs discussed with authorities and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Study and recreate crafts in various forms for different product lines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Design with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the textile industry.
- Textile/Fashion Degree or diploma from a reputable institution.
- Knowledge of weaving, printing, and embroidery, as well as leadership skills.
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- A deep understanding of design operations management and industry trends.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Suite).
