Job Title: Master Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the data science team to design and implement complex algorithms that provide valuable insights into our data
  • Use agile development processes to make iterative improvements to our back-end systems
  • Model front-end and back-end data sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of user flows throughout the system and to enable powerful data analysis
  • Build scalable data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources
  • Develop predictive models that can be used to inform business decisions and drive growth

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools
  • Strong familiarity with BigData and Google Cloud technologies
  • Solid work experience with Google Cloud's BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD, and related tools
  • Knowledge of industry-wide visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, R)
  • Knowledge of Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting languages
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and Hive
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, research-oriented environment with concurrent projects
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes
  • Professional certification
