Data Engineering Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Lead to drive the full lifecycle of our data engineering solutions, from strategic design to hands-on implementation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that meet business requirements.

In this role, you will lead the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP). You will also define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards. Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, you will understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

You will evaluate new technologies and tools to improve our data infrastructure and practices. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, data flows, and processes. Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
  • Define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Overall 10-12 years of experience with 3+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native data services such as AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and EMR; Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Data Factory, and Databricks; and GCP BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

Certifications (Preferred)

Relevant certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect(GCP) Data Architect, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer, or similar credentials.
