Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual QA Tester to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality of our software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze software requirements to design detailed test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.

  • Conduct functional, regression, UI, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring comprehensive coverage across multiple platforms.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

  • Maintain and update test artifacts—such as test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports—to facilitate traceability and transparency.

  • Actively engage in Agile/scrum ceremonies to align testing efforts with development cycles.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to clarify requirements, replicate issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

    • Evaluate the implications of new features and changes on existing functionality to prioritize testing effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of focused manual testing experience across web and/or mobile applications.

  • Proficiency in formalizing test documentation—test plans, cases, checklists, and test reports.

  • Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla with strong defect logging and tracking capabilities.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) workflows.

  • Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively.
