Job Description

We seek a meticulous and analytical quality assurance specialist to ensure software product excellence.

This role involves developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and scripts for software applications. It also includes performing manual and automated testing to guarantee software quality.

In addition, this position entails conducting extensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.

They should also have the ability to collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

Furthermore, this role requires ensuring compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.

The successful candidate will analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.

With a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, this individual will be able to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Manual testing
  • Automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
  • Database testing using SQL
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
