Automation Framework Developer Job Description:
Job Summary
This position is for an experienced Automation Framework Developer who can design, develop and maintain robust Selenium automation frameworks for web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
- Develop and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in test automation and software quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing automation frameworks (BDD, data-driven, hybrid).
- Experience with API automation testing tools.
- Understanding of continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Git.
- Proficient with test management and reporting tools like TestNG, Allure, or Extent Reports.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
