Key Responsibilities
  • Automate test frameworks for web applications and APIs using industry-leading tools
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
  • Build robust automated test suites for complex features and business workflows
  • Implement efficient data preparation and management strategies
  • Perform thorough exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential issues
  • Conduct rigorous integration and regression testing
  • Execute load testing to ensure scalability
  • Validate data accuracy through database testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the deliverability of high-quality software products
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and maintainability
  • Participate in technical planning sessions
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintenance
  • Document test plans, test cases, and best practices
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Web application automation testing
  • API automation and testing
  • Cloud platform technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • CI/CD environments and DevOps methodologies

Required Skills

Technical Skills
  • Strong SQL and database skills for data validation
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools:
  • Web Automation: Playwright, Selenium, or similar
  • API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent
  • Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, or similar
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Jenkins)
Programming Languages
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Python)
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
