Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools, with experience in automation testing using Python.

The role requires proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language, such as Java or Shell, and a good understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.

In this position, you will work closely with development teams to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java (Maven) and JavaScript (Node.js). You will also be responsible for supporting REST API workflows with automated test case generation, JSON assertions, and data encryption.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to initiate and develop reusable common-lib modules for UI steps, data-driven testing, SOAP/REST API, JSON parsing, AODA compliance, PDF test, ETL support, and mobile UI testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java (Maven) and JavaScript (Node.js)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language, such as Java or Shell
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
