Job Title: EDI Support Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled professional to maintain and enhance the electronic data interchange operations for our company. The successful candidate will perform daily support activities to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.

Job Description

The EDI Support Specialist will be responsible for conducting daily system checks on EDI platforms to monitor performance and identify issues early. They will investigate and resolve failed EDI transactions promptly to minimize business disruptions. Additionally, they will resubmit failed tasks and verify accurate data exchange between systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • EDI System Monitoring: Conduct daily system checks on EDI platforms to monitor performance and identify issues early.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve failed EDI transactions promptly to minimize business disruptions.
  • Data Exchange Verification: Resubmit failed tasks and verify accurate data exchange between systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting and issue resolution. They should also have effective communication skills to work with technical teams and business stakeholders. Additionally, they should have a proactive problem-solving approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience: Experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in IBM Sterling integration tools and technologies is essential.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
