EDI Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EDI Support Specialist to maintain and enhance our electronic data interchange operations. This role requires daily support activities to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.

  • Conduct daily system checks on EDI platforms to monitor performance and identify potential issues early.
  • Investigate and resolve failed EDI transactions promptly to minimize business disruptions.
  • Resubmit failed tasks and verify accurate data exchange between systems.
  • Collaborate with the EDI team to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Document support processes, maintain logs of system performance and incidents.
  • Provide user support and training to improve understanding and effective use of EDI systems.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML.
  • Proficiency in IBM Sterling integration tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Effective communication skills to work with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload efficiently.
